Dear Terry Family Association Members,
I hope this message finds you all happy and healthy. For those who may not know me well,
allow me to introduce myself: I’m Jeffrey, the great-grandson of Ruby Terry
Pummer.
I’m writing to introduce a project I’m very passionate about: reviving our family newsletter.
The newsletter used to be a great way to keep us informed about each other’s lives, and
I’d love to bring it back to life with your help.
The goal of the newsletter is to celebrate what makes our family so special and keep us connected.
This includes sharing updates like births, marriages, graduations, moves, or career changes.
I also want to honor and remember those we’ve lost, as their stories and legacy remain an
important part of who we are. Whether it’s big milestones or small joys, everything deserves
a place in our family narrative.
I’d like to start by collecting updates from all of you. If you have stories, photos, or
memories to share—or know of updates from other family members who aren’t on this email
list—please pass them along. You can also let me know if there’s someone I should reach out
to directly. I want this newsletter to reflect everyone’s voice and include as many family
members as possible.
Here’s what would be helpful to share:
Announcements: Births, deaths, engagements, achievements, moves, or anything significant.
General updates: How’s life been treating you lately?
Ideas or suggestions: Is there a section you’d love to see in the newsletter (maybe even family
recipes you'd like to share)?
Feel free to share your input or stories in whatever form works best—an email, a quick note, anything goes.
Thank you all for taking the time to consider this. I’m excited about reconnecting and creating
something meaningful for our family. Let’s keep our bonds strong and ensure our stories are
shared for generations to come.
Warm regards,
Jeffrey
